I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Currently the Easysocial dashboard page doesn't have included those meta tweet tag, this is why when you share your Easysocial dashboard page to Twitter page, it didn't populate any image.

I already help you modified some of the custom code into your template override file it should show your site logo image when you share into Twitter.

You would need to use a 3rd party social bookmark tool to do that because EasySocial doesn't generate the meta tag on the dashboard view since it doesn't really know what data to generate (every site has a different purpose) . You could also consider MetaMan which allows you to easily inject them, https://stackideas.com/metaman

Yep, the mod that Arlex provided will ensure that the logo will be rendered on the tweet.

I'm a little confused, I am not sharing the dashboard page, but the actual post(s) with image. Shouldn't that post and image be what shows on FB, Twitter etc?

Just went to facebook and had it scrape the post. Then the share showed the image in the preview, but still showed our logo in facebook??
still does not share to Twitter.

This is a big issue, as shares need to work.

Looking back at our facebook stream. Shares where working on dec 09

ok got it working, the add og tag setting was not checked in ES.

Sharing a video still does not include an image though.. Is this normal?

I have tested this on Facebook and it seems like Facebook has already cached that URL, http://take.ms/QEFfw . This was probably when the opengraph tags was disabled earlier.

Upon clicking on the "scrape again" button, Facebook updated it's cache, http://take.ms/bDVyj . When trying to share on Facebook now, it appears correctly as you can see here, http://take.ms/56FEe

No problem Colin. If you encounter such issue again, just head over to https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ and click on the "Scrape again" button several times as Facebook's cache is very problematic.
