Hello,
where can I translate the GRPR from the frontend in Easysocial to German?

Such as.:

Request Account Data

You may request to download a copy of your data which is stored on the site at any point of time by clicking on the download button below. The process will take a while as the system would need to collect these information from the site and archive it in an archive

Thanks
Bodo
Hi there,

You can translate them using language string below. You can do language override as follow
https://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/languages/creating-language-overrides

COM_ES_GDPR_REQUEST_DATA="Request Account Data"
COM_ES_GDPR_DOWNLOAD_INFORMATION_DESC="You may request to download a copy of your data which is stored on the site at any point of time by clicking on the download button below. The process will take a while as the system would need to collect these information from the site and archive it in an archive"

What is the name of the file to be translated so that I can translate the other variables as well?

Thank you

Hello,

I'm so sorry.

In my language / en-GB / en-GB.com_easysocial.ini, the variables start with COM_EASYSOCIAL_, not COM_ES

and with _GDPR_ there is nothing.

Thank you.

Hi Bodo,

We do start those variables with COM_EASYSOCIAL as those are used on our older version. As we updated our product, we changing our variables to com_es but for certain words only that is for new wording being added on our latest version. You can find them on the end of the files, you will see most of them are com_es as you can see here http://take.ms/M716G.

And for German language, most of them are still not translated because it is new addition to the files and will take quite time for our translator to translate those words.
