Hello,
The language displayed in the "mod_easysocial_friend_suggestions" module remains partially in English (although translations in FR exist), for example "mutual friend" or "mutual friends" remain in English.
I may not have found the right language file.
Do you know which file is called?
Best regards.
Eric
Hi Eric,
It seems your French EasySocial file is not updated. Can you head to your ES language page in the backend, click on Discover then update the desired language. Remember to backup your language files beforehand if you performed any customization/modification in those files.

Hey Eric,
I was referring to EasySocial's language page(http://take.ms/rOCb6), not Joomla's language page.
After you discover, you should select the language that requires updating and click on install. It will get the latest language files from our server.
Let us know if your issue is resolved after this. Thanks.

I've help you updated the latest french language .ini file for Easysocial from backend.

It seems like French translator haven't translate these few string from Transifex server yet.

You have to modify it from this file -> /www/language/fr-FR/fr-FR.com_easysocial.ini then look for this 2 language string, you can translate it from this language ini file.

COM_EASYSOCIAL_FRIEND_SUGGESTIONS_FRIENDS_MUTUAL_COUNT_SINGULAR="%1$s mutual friend"
COM_EASYSOCIAL_FRIEND_SUGGESTIONS_FRIENDS_MUTUAL_COUNT_PLURAL="%1$s mutual friends"

Hello,
That was what I had done, but there had to be cache, the update was visible with a lag.
On the other hand I had already translated a lot of things in the file fr-FR and I lost all the work done.
Is there a psosibility to call an ini file in which I will store my translations and would not be inpactable by the updates?
Best regards.
Eric

Hey Eric,

Can you try download my attached file and see is it you mentioned that file which you already translated some of the string?

Unfortunately that was not possible to keep your existing language file during the update language, I would suggest you to use Joomla language override, so it will not affect with your new language update.

JoomlaFolder/language/overrides/fr-FR.override.ini

Hey Eric,
Just to add, for any language overrides that you perform you can either use Joomla's language override page: Documentation
or edit the override file in this location:
JoomlaFolder/language/overrides/xx-XX.override.ini
