May i know what Joomla version you using now from your old site?

our current site it is currently at 3.9.16263

our new developed site will be 5.2.3?

If your current site already running Joomla version 3.x, you can upgrade Easyblog 5.2.3 from your current site.

Then only move to your new site.

our current site is out of date at 3.2.1 - the new site is the latest joomla version - should we be able to update easyblog then?

I have tried to install the latest version of Easyblog but it wont install?

Hm, that updater no longer work in older version of Easyblog 3.9.x.

It seems like you also using very older version of Joomla.

I would suggested that follow this documentation here how to migrate your old site Easyblog data over to your new site.
