Hello,

Please see attached settings. Since using EasyDiscuss we have had a lot of complaints from users that they are not being notified of the topics. I have narrowed this down to the setting:

Notify owner when replied

Is not working. So create a topic as a new user, then as a different user reply to the new topic.

The post owner is not notified. Setting we are using attached

Hi Tony,
I am not able to replicate this issue locally(http://take.ms/GtyI5). The post owner was able to receive notification mails when someone reply in the thread. In this case, I would have to investigate the issue on your site. Can you provide us your backend and ftp access http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can do this? Thanks.

Did you test with the exact notifications settings as the above screenshot? And only 1 reply to the post. You seem to have multiple replies from multiple people?

Hey Tony,
I have tested this again with the same setting as the screenshot and I managed to replicate the issue where the discussion owner is not receiving reply notifications. I will log this issue in our tracker so the devs can look into it.

In the meantime, try applying the temporary fix file below into the directory and see how it goes: JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easydiscuss/includes/post/post.php
Remember to backup the original file as precaution.
