I have a subsite under development at alinstitute.org on a separate template for a project that's grant funded. On the main site, I'm using Easyblog. I'd also like to use Easyblog on the subsite carrying it's own set of categories of news pieces. The problem is that the toolbar home icon, blog title, and other elements all revert or point to the main site. I don't seem to be able to use Easyblog on the subsite and keep people in that section of the site. Each site section has completely different news and a different focus. The main site menu is a Posts Frontpage, the subsite is set to Single category. The problem is that the toolbar and the blog topic can be set once only.
Hi Norman,

Seems like you've just create the subsite by menu where it is not possible. Unless you make your subsite from subdomain where you can install easyblog and setup it differently.

Are you saying Easyblog does not provide the ability to have two separate instances of Easyblog on a site in which the toolbar references only itself and not the first instance installed? What point is there to having a category blog option then?

Hi Smit,

As you concern about the toolbar's home icon, blog title, and other elements was point to the main site where even though you've make different category menu for that subsite it always refer to the frontpage menu as you click the home icon
