Timestamps in outgoing notification emails is off by 5 hours

The emails that are being sent out report a wrong time. If you look at the image you will see that the email was sent out at 7:50 PM on Oct 5th. This is correct. My Joomla Server setting is for Chicago time zone and that 7:50 PM is the correct timezone. However, the message that is being sent is stating that the message was sent out five hours into the future.

In Joomla I have the timezone set for Chicago which is a GMT -6. When I login to our email server which is Google it is marke at GMT -5.

But it seems like the message on the email stating when it was sent is reporting possibly in GMT.

Are there settings in the StackIdeas configuration where the timezone is also set?

Currently we do not have an option to turn off this, but I already remove some of the code under this file JoomlaFolder/components/com_komento/themes/wireframe/emails/comment.new.php into your site , it should display this email content now.

Yes Arlex. That is the place that is wrong. in the upper right corner you will see the correct time which was 7:50 PM on Thursday. The time you highlighted is five hours later.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

I think that is not necessary to show created date in the email, because when the system notify this user, email there already have the date time who added new comment on that article page.

By the way, I will lock this issue into our Komento issue tracker.
