Sorry if this is a double up. I thought I'd posted this already but cannot find it now that I want to add to it.

I used to think that the built in editor was good until I started to push it gently. I really don't want it to do a lot more, but it's driven me insane over the last hour or so.

First I tried creating new templates, but the template got too long and I could no longer drop blocks at the bottom. Move is clumsy, erratic and imprecise. It's very difficult to see whether the block is in a droppable position.

So I thought I'd just do posts and add blocks directly to the posts instead. Same issue. I get to a point where I cannot drop anything to the bottom as the bottom is off the page.

Please do not tell me that I have to start with the last block and work up so that I can add everything I want! I really think I'm going to drop the built-in editor. It's a great idea, but doesn't appear to work properly. The text boxes have very limited formatting so users are forced to add heading boxes every time they want more than bold. I use a page builder every day and it's fantastic. Alas, I cannot extend the same compliment to EBs "page builder".

I hope I'm going to be embarrassed in that I've been doing it all wrong. However, the documentation sheds little light on it so I can only assume I am using it correctly.
Hi Ian,

Kindly find my response for your inquiries below:

You actually can drag the block and scroll down using your mouse scroll wheel or you can click the selected block(without drag the block) and scroll down the editor area and click on the 'empty section'
refer this video: http://take.ms/eUVX2

The text boxes have very limited formatting so users are forced to add heading boxes every time they want more than bold.

Actually for text box also you can format it to be shows as heading, example: http://take.ms/yrSNK

Yes and no.

Now I see how to do the move. The documentation does not address this feature at all. In every other pagebuilder I've used, you left click and drag. I see that EB allows for selecting the bock without holding down the left button. Thank you for pointing this out. As I said, this is not normal pagebuilder behavior - perhaps a mention in the documentation would help.

In regards making the text larger, yes, I agree I can do that. Two issues. I find it very diffult making the slider for font size works precisely. The idea, in theory, is good, but, in practice it's too difficult to use. Please go back to allowing typing of a pixel or em size into a field.

The second, and far more critical, issue with making "headings" this way is from an SEO standpoint. Google recognizes HTML tags as a means of determining content importance - not text size. I can have an H1 that is 1px in height, and Google will recognize this as very important over paragraph (or body) text that is 1000px. So, adding "headings" by making big text may be pleasing to humans, but entirely misses the SEO boat.

I'll inform our PIC of documentation to take note on this

This is indeed a great idea Ian. Perhaps, can you create a new ticket under feature request so that our developer can keep track the feature that can be implement in the next release.

I see, yes this is some limitation of using text block where basically as EasyBlog built-in editor we are intend that each block has their own html tag
