Ah, sorry for the misunderstanding, seems like there is a bug for vanilla template as you cannot duplicate the template http://take.ms/Ty1ZR currently. I've logged this issue in our issue tracker and our developer will take an action to fix this.

However, as you mention about you're worried about the custom css will be override once you update, it will not override the custom css as you set in the custom css section http://take.ms/SYW8Y

But I'm already using custom.css but it was convenient to duplicate the original template in order to avoid misunderstandings even on layouts saved after an update.
Also I need to know why the Camilla template does not bring this layout of easy social as the demo with Like comment and recoment enclosed in the Burton? With a 100% fluid width?

I tried to test the fix with solutions, I would like to help you solve it:
1) I uninstalled the vanilla template and its plugins and modules
2) I deleted the tmp and cache folder
3) I reinstalled the vanilla template and its plugins and modules
4) I made a copy of the template renaming it vanilla-copia-predefined;
5) I receive the usual error
6) I'm going to change within the copy_34344343 folder in the tmp folder the file vanilla-copia-predefinito.ini in vanilla.ini
7) magically I install a copy of the template with name copy-default.ini: -)
8) I wait for some gift bonus from you 1 for having found a bug and two for having partially solved it ..

I forgot to insert that after point 6, I installed the template from the tmp folder with path root / home / tmp and installed it correctly

For the easysocial.stackideas.com demo site it actually has installed Mobile Web Template so it will use web template in mobile view instead of the default template.
