Yup. I went thorugh all of that and the guidelines seem to be outdated because there is no way to find the Key Code anywhere.
The screen shot you show in the article is not even close to the shareThis account page
There is NO Dashboard nor Account tab.

Ah, yes, I've try to setup this sharethis social button it seems our documentation and on how we render the button is outdated. I've logged this issue in our issue tracker and our developers/PIC for documentation will take an action for this.
For now can you download the attached file and replace it in the folder:
.../components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/socialbuttons/sharethis.php
and see how it goes?

You're suggested to backup the file that you want to replace beforehand for precaution
