Hi,

I would like to set up a plan for a particular duration, like one calendar year, or from 01/01/2018 to 31/12/2018 for example. Is that something doable ? I tought that the limit plan app could do that, but in fact it can only publish or unpublish the plans...

It is something quite mandatory for my workflow, as the non-profit I'm building a site for is requesting subscription for calendar years.

Best regards,

Paul
Hello Paul,

Payplans Limit Plan app will unpublish the plan after particular duration , so user will not be able to subscribe those plan after that period.
https://stackideas.com/docs/payplans/administrators/administration/limit-plan

Or you are talking about subscription start and expiration date ? Like if user subscribe plan A thne it's start and expiration time would be 01/01/2018 to 31/12/2018 .

Update us and correct me if i misunderstood.

Hi Manisha,

I'm talking about the second option : subscription start and expiration date.
I've just found in your documentation that the app "Subscription Start Date" seems to be doing what I want (https://stackideas.com/docs/payplans/administrators/administration/subscription-start-date), but I can't figure how to set it up.

I've configured the from date and the to date (see screenshot 1), and added the app to a test plan (see screenshot 2) but nothing appears on the front end as it should (http://img.readybytes.net/docs/payplans/subscription-start-date/payplans-plans.png) (see screenshot 3)...

Have I missed something ?

**edit : I've added the site details if you want to have a look.

Best regards,

Paul

Hello Paul,

According to the screenshot attached by you, it seems you misunderstood the working.
Subscription start date will be used when you want that subscription will be start from any particular date. If both parameters From and To are set then subscriptions which lies(purchase) between these two dates will be considered to activate or start on set date.

In your case you don't need to set FROM and TO , you just need to set Start On Date, so whenver subscription purchase, Subscription will be start from Start On Date.

By using Subscription Expiration Date app , you can set expiration date of plan. It will work same as subscription start date only diffrence is it will set expiration date another one set start date.
see attached screen shot.

Note : Subscription Start and subscription Expiration date , both app will work for fixed(one time payment) plans only.

Let me know if you have any query.

Hello Manisha,

Thanks for your quick answer and sorry for the misunderstanding .
You are right, I didn't not understood at first that I needed two different apps to set a subscription begins at a certain date, and end at another, but it is understood, and I've set everything up.
I'm going to test it, and customize all the templates that needs it, and I'll get back to you if I have others questions.

Best regards, and thanks again for this nice support !
