Hi,

I'm looking for a SEO extension (mainly for metadata) that works good with EasyBlog, EasySocial and EasyDiscuss.
Any recommendations?

Regards,
Mark
Hey Gregor,

You should give MetaMan, https://stackideas.com/metaman a try This is something we use for our site too and doesn't require you to go to the back end and front end back and forth as everything is done on the front end.

You could also try the demo on http://metaman.stackideas.com/

Hi Mark,

Thank you. Is there an automatic option to generate the metadata? Couldn't find that in the description.

Mark

Hey Mark,

It doesn't generate it automatically and I strongly advise you not to rely on "automated" generation because 99% of the time, it's not going to be accurate. I have seen some plugins do this and all it does is to extract a snippet of the content on the page and really, it does more harm than good.

If you don't have time to update the meta data on a particular page, I strongly advise to not have anything at all until you have the time to update it. Carefully crafting your meta data to reflect the content of your page is your best SEO / SERP weapon

Hey Mark,

Currently I do not have any SEO tool recommendation to use for our existing product.

Perhaps you can try submit your sitemap into Google webmaster tool and see what is the statistics of these.

After Google scan it, it will quickly detecting whether where got any error show up.

Hi Arlex,

Thank you, I'll try that! I'm now using EFSEO - Easy Frontend SEO and it works for the title and discription in Easyblog and EasySocial but unfortunately not for the keywords.

Mark

You're welcome.

I believe those keyword meta tag do not affected your site ranking of web search results.
