You can hide them accordingly by configuring those respective fields here https://take.ms/raMVX based on your respective profile types' workflow.

From my opinion, to add additional informations is not necessary as those fields should't be visible when searching them.

Hiding the fields works.

But on using the filters on the search page we are facing the following pb :
<> a user, Alain DELAGE, is associated to 2 values in a multilist filed called "Fonction(s) exercée(s)"
. "Conseil ou animation culture"
. "Experimentation"
