Currently, it is required for you to have Easysocial dashboard menu items because it is required to navigated through-out your site. I would advice you to hide them here http://take.ms/QEEqw so that those menu items will be hidden and not shown on your front end.

Thanks for the quick response. Attached is what I was working to describe. Removing the black bar since I have a menu with Events Link and move notifications to toolbar. See attached.

You can hide them here http://take.ms/v0VF5f. And for notifications, you can use this module http://take.ms/LHoZx and assign them accordingly to your template position. Or i would suggest you to use this https://stackideas.com/apps/item/3336-docker for your notifications.
