Hi there,

this is my first time I am trying the Quick Composer in Easy Blog. So far, I see 5 Options like Text, Photos, Videos, Quotes, Links.
I have tried all this Options, but it seems only Text can be saved. Let´s assume I want to create a Quick Post full article having a Text and a YouTube Video a Quote and a Website link included. After hitting the Save Button only a few items are saved but not all the five items together.
What also confuses me is the fact if I want to edit the same article again, the edit article link is leading me in a different direction but not the same view where I started from.

Am I doing something wrong or I need a full description or tutorial. My concern is only the Quick post at the movement.

If you check my site, please switch to English try to find the link “BLOG” and login. Please try the Quick Composer Icon and test all the five Buttons same time an publish the article.

Let me create some scenario :

Imagine one of the blogger like to capture some photo and share to social media when he go for a trip.
And it most likely there is no enough time to plan what to write properly for a blog post, but they would like to share to his friend or those people who following him on his blog post, so they can quickly submit a quick post through this quickpost form from the photo type, just enter blog title, description and upload a photo then click on the submit button, this blog post will publish on the site. (video link : http://take.ms/jf936)

Same goes like video, text, quote, and link.

In other word, if you click the submit button from `text` type, so it will only submit the content base on this `text` type.

And when you edit the existing blog post, it will always fall back to load composer page instead of the quickpost form.

If you would like to plan to write very long content for your blog post, i would suggest you create blog post through the composer instead of quickpost form.

now I unterstand. So I guess that only written text from regular composer will be published in easysocial activity stream? Because this will lead me to the next question how Easyblog interact with easysocial activity stream. Must I install an Applikation to see my blogposts in easysocial.I remember the easysocial left sitebar did have a menue item for easyblog blogposts.? I am not shure

Yes, you have to install this blog app from your site backend > Easysocial > application > store , or you can download it manually from https://stackideas.com/apps/item/5-blog then install through your site backend > Easysocial > application > install as well.

Then it will appear this blog filter from the left sidebar, you can check my attached screenshot below.
