I am logged in as user A. User A is not in friendship of user B.
As user A, I look at the profile page of user B.
As User A, I see the APP Tasks of User B under menu entry Tasks. As User A, I see the personal tasks of User B, which B has been assigned on his profile page.
This should not be possible. What are you thinking about that?
Hm, the reason that we made the tasks public is because there are a lot of customers who were asking for it. They mentioned that having the tasks appear only to the current logged in user doesn't serve any purpose.

However, if the user is fine with his friends being able to view his tasks, he could just set his privacy for his profile to be accessible by friends.

That is no solution.

The App Tasks user is used to display a summary of the tasks inherited in groups and events in his profile view as a summary. Tasks taken in groups or events are rightly not visible to members who are not members of the same group or event.
So far everything is fine.
The problem arises when you set a personal task for yourself - in the profile view. All registered users can view these personal tasks. This should not be possible. My question? Can you program the App Tasks user on my page so that tasks created for yourself are only visible to yourself? What would this effort cost?
Best regards,
Martin

Hey Martin,

Hm, yeah that does makes sense. We'll see what we can do in the next update. Perhaps a configurable option for the app to hide user's personal tasks. When enabled, the app would not render the personal tasks for other viewers but only to the current logged in user.

What do you think?
