Privacy and Category Sorting issues with 2.1.2

There seem to be some issues with 2.1.2 that would be awesome to have fixed:

Privacy

  1. When clicking on Privacy on the left-hand side, nothing happens in the main area. See privacy-dropdown.png
  2. If I right-click and copy the link, (http://digibit.local/administrator/index.php?option=com_easysocial&view=privacy), I get a list of the items. See privacy-listing.png
  3. When I change the setting and try to save by clicking on the Save or Save & Close buttons, nothing happens. Cancel works. See privacy-setting.png


Category Sorting

After creating or updating a category in Groups, Events, and Pages, the previously set ordering is changed. This means that ordering has to be reset each time and change is made.

Also, it would be great if sorting occurred within the category tree. For example, if you had the following:

Title Ordering

B Test 1

Test 1
- A Test Child 1

The sorting should be as above.

But, it sorts to be:

- A Test Child 1
B Test 1

Kindly find my response for your inquiries below:
1. Privacy
-> I've replicate this issue, it seems there is a bug regarding this, I've logged this issue in our issue tracker and our developers will take an action for this.

2. Category Sorting
-> Correct me if I'm wrong here, you mean if I edit an category for example with ordering number 7 as I edit the category it will change the ordering number maybe to number 1? If yes, the default behavior is it will doesn't change the ordering unless you change it on the backend categories.

3. Title Ordering
-> I've consult this with our developers, if you want to sort by title it will ignore parents and child.

2. Category Sorting
Attached are 2 screenshots.

This particular example is Groups Categories. But, is the same for all.

Screen Shot 2017-10-30 at 11.15.11.png shows the sorting I have set and saved and that is used on my site.

After clicking on the "Trading" category and then clicking "Save & Close", I get the following sorting seen in Screen Shot 2017-10-30 at 11.16.24.png.

After clicking on "Trading", I did not make any changes. I only clicked on "Save & Close".

The expected behavior is that your ordering should not change when you edit a Category. It should only change if you change the value in the list of Categories and click save ordering icon.

-> Yes you are correct here, Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

You can add the information needed by edit your first post in the Details section or you can just include your site's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site rather than needing to keep adding them in your replies
