Hi, I have a question regarding how wierd the category views are. Right now I have two ways of viewing categories. Look at these two examples:

1) From the Categories page (accessed through the toolbar): https://simracer.uno/foros/categories/dirt-rally - This shows all posts with pagination.
2) From that very same category page, at the top, in the box, is another category view: https://simracer.uno/foros/dirt-rally - This shows only the posts up to the limit I have set in admin. There is no way to "view more posts in this category" or anything like that.

This is very unintuitive and difficult for the user to navigate. I am using category-based SEF and my ED menu item is the Forums Layout.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a better way to do this? I find it unacceptable for people to only find all posts in a given category through the Categories link on the toolbar. Clicking on the category within a post or elsewhere should also give them a page where they can browse ALL the posts, but it does not.

As an example, this very ED Stackideas forum has a "View more posts" button: https://stackideas.com/forums/easydiscuss. Why don't I have that?

Thanks!
Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

It seems like our developer already fix this in internally, can you try download my attached file and replace into this following file location and see how it goes?

JoomlaFolder/components/com_easydiscuss/themes/wireframe/forums/default.php

Remember backup the original file first before you replace the file.

Hi Steven,

I am able to reproduce this in my local instance. There is actually an 'All Posts' link on the left side of the footer. However, it is only showing when the viewer is logged in.

I believe this should not be the case as non-logged in users should also be able to see the link.

I will log this issue in our tracker so we can address this.

You can try to login into your site and see if the link shows(I wasn't able to login with the provided credentials).

Yes, if I log in then the link appears. Will wait for a fix.

Sorry, I sent the wrong user credentials.

Thanks!
