Hi Mark,

If you recollect that during Easysocial 1.3 days i had wrote about the notification titles issue : http://stackideas.com/forums/notification-fixes-required-in-es-1-4

Can you please update if the notifications have been fixed? because in the latest 1.4 i'm still facing same issues

eg. if someone comments on an uploaded video , the notification header says "Original User, uploaded a new video"

Same issue with links, if some member comments on a old shared link by another member, the heading is not correct, it should say
"Commentor name" commented on "org link giver name" post

or something to same effect.

Hey Sunny,

Most of these issues are already fixed and it should already be fixed on 1.4.x. Are you still having issues with this? If you are, can you please lay the steps necessary to reproduce these issues?

Hi Mark,

If a users uploads a video and another members a few days later comments on that video than the stream header says: "User uploaded a new video....."
instead of "Another member commented on users video...."

If a user comments on a stream item, the heading says "Original User Updates"

Hm, this isn't a bug Sunny. When a user posts a comment on the video, it DOES NOT generate a new stream item.

If your current stream settings is set to order by "last modified date", then the stream item get's bumped up. If you do not want this behavior, you can change the ordering of the stream to "creation date" under Settings > Stream > Pagination
