I am playing around with a new template and menu structure on a local instance and tried to copy EB content from the live version to my local instance. I copied the DB tables #_easyblog_# and then re-installed the latest version of EB locally. Then I created a menu pointing to EB (posts) front page. On the back end everything looks fine. On the front - end the front page is opened but remains completely empty... Any suggestions
Hi there,

It seems that it your blog is shown correctly on your blog page as shown https://screencast.com/t/WErgh2gX. Maybe you can try to refer this docs first https://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/how-tos/how-to-migrate-from-one-site-to-another and see how it goes

If problems still persist, can you provide us with your backend and FTP access for further check on this issues?

I followed the steps in the doc you are referring to. I will try again as it looks to me as maybe not everything is copied over correctly.. and something is missing

I also created a new post on the local site, that also shows up in back end but not front end. did not get any error msgs ....

Hi there,

It seems that might be got conflict with some of your plugin and others possibilities that conflict with EasyBlog on your local instance. We need to access your local's backend and FTP access for further check on this issues. Thanks for your understanding
