Hi I'm trying to migrate my easyblog 3.9.22134 posts, but it states that I should run a new Rule scan, I can't seem to find where you do that.
Hi Graham,

You can find it from your backend > easysocial > ACL > discover as you can see from my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/vjPTGG4THH .

Hey Graham,

I am not really sure what you meant by "migrate your 3.9.22134 posts". Do you mean you want to regenerate the streams in EasySocial?

I'm trying to regenerate the streams, but its asking to do a rule scan first.
I cannot see easyblog in the rule scan

Hey Graham,

I have ran the migrator for you and it has imported the stream items over. Can you give this a try again now? By the way, the reason that these items aren't appearing on the stream is most likely because you did not install the app from http://stackideas.com/apps/item/5-blog yet. Also, it looks like your EasyBlog version is pretty old. You should update to the latest version of EasyBlog

Hey Graham,

Ah yes, the blog app which I have installed works with the latest version of EasyBlog but your EasyBlog version is on 3.9. Is it possible for you to update to the latest version, 5.0.29?

Hi, I've installed easyblog 5 but I think its too complicated for my users to create their posts with (they are aged 60 +)
Is it possible to go back to easyblog 3.9?

Hey Graham,

Hm, EasyBlog 5 is actually pretty much the same as 3.9 unless you configure it to use the "Composer". If you are using the default TINYMCE / JCE editor, it should behave almost identical to 3.9 eh?

Hey Graham,

It's actually pretty late here from where I am at, I will forward this to our designer so that he'll take a look at this as soon as the day starts tomorrow

Hi Graham,

The JCE image manager are not responsive ready, you will need to insert css codes below into your custom stylesheets manually define the height on it.
#ui-jce-wrapper iframe {
height: 470px !important;
}
