Hey,
I've added new custom fields items under user workflow and click saved.
However, when I go to an existing user and try to edit his profile, I can't see the new fields. What am I missing?
Thanks|!
Hey Itamar,

Is the profile type associated with the correct workflow?

Hey Itamar,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue? You may store your site access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so you don't have to provide these information all the time

Hi there,

May i know which customs field are you referring to? From what i checked on your site, only 'Text' "not showing" currently. But it is showing correctly as you can see here http://take.ms/9KzsI and that how it behave currently. It will simply show you those wording set on your current workflow.

By the way, I would like to suggest you to use 'textarea' or 'textbox' if you wanted your users to fill them in during edit or registrations.

Please advice.

Great, Thank you!
Another question regarding that.
I notice that the system refer to my user in plural: ie. boolbool updated THEIR profile.
Is the pronoun determend by the GENDER field. Male => his, Female-> her and other -> their?

Hi there,

Yes it is. You can refer on language strings below at this path language/your_current_language/your_current_language.com_easysocial.ini

APP_USER_PROFILES_STREAM_UPDATED_PROFILE_FEMALE="%1$s updated her profile"
APP_USER_PROFILES_STREAM_UPDATED_PROFILE_MALE="%1$s updated his profile"
APP_USER_PROFILES_STREAM_UPDATED_PROFILE_THEIR="%1$s updated their profile"

Please give it a check and see how it goes

Actually last question about it,
Is there a way to change the fields that shows to the user to a custom text.
So instead of Male it will show "he" and instead of Female it will show "She" ?

You can change them at this path using language string below

PLG_FIELDS_GENDER_SELECT_CUSTOM="Other"
PLG_FIELDS_GENDER_SELECT_FEMALE="Female"
PLG_FIELDS_GENDER_SELECT_MALE="Male"
