We have discovered a way to embed the EB functionality into a web page that is outside of our main CBN site.

Example: https://enktesis.com/blog-test-1

However, when I click any menu item, Continue Reading button, or navigation button, it displays the full original web page.

How can you/we modify these links (perhaps from absolute to relative links) so that they only display the information within the EB module and not refresh and display an entirely new and full page?
Hi there,

Regarding your inquiry,
> How can you/we modify these (when I click any menu item, Continue Reading button, or navigation button, it displays the full original web page) so that they only display the information within the EB module and not refresh and display an entirely new and full page?

Currently, I believe there is no available feature to do that. You'll need to do a custom EasyBlog layout in order to achieve this.

Having said that, if you require us to perform the customization for you, you can always request for a quote from us at https://crm.stackideas.com and select "Customizations" . Our sales person would gladly send you a quote for the customization that you have requested.

By the way, it is not advisable to display an entire site within iframe as it would create issues in the future. Following are the error generated in the console.

A parser-blocking, cross site (i.e. different eTLD+1) script, https://secure.statcounter.com/counter/counter.js, is invoked via document.write. The network request for this script MAY be blocked by the browser in this or a future page load due to poor network connectivity. If blocked in this page load, it will be confirmed in a subsequent console message. See https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5718547946799104 for more details.

Some cookies are misusing the recommended “SameSite“ attribute. Cookie “GPS” will be soon rejected because it has the “SameSite” attribute set to “None” or an invalid value, without the “secure” attribute. Yasser, I would like to submit a request for Customization for this support request to https://crm.stackideas.com, but I don't see a Customization link. Would it be possible to speak with a sales or customization associate about what I am trying to accomplish?

Also, is there any way to create a new blank Joomla page and add EasyBlog to that page as a separate on the same site?

If I add EB to a completely separate Joomla site, will our current license apply or will we be required to purchase another EB license?

If we do add EB to a new site, will the EB import/feed feature enable us to duplicate our current categories, authors, posts, etc. to the new site?

Bottom line: we want to be able to completely duplicate our current EB content to another site and have any new content (posts, etc.) automatically exported/fed to the new site. How do we accomplish this?

Hi there,

Actually, you can install EasyBlog to any Joomla sites. However, our support will only be limited to registered domain sites. You'll not be able to download languages and perform single click update on the other sites as well.

Regarding,
> will the EB import/feed feature enable us to duplicate our current categories, authors, posts, etc. to the new site?

EasyBlog feed importer specifically import posts created on the source sites. Categories, authors and etc. will need to be setup separately.

About,
> we want to be able to completely duplicate our current EB content to another site and have any new content (posts, etc.) automatically exported/fed to the new site.

Im not sure what you're trying to achieve here. Is the current sites still in use or you're shutting down and moving away from it? But anyway, it requires quite a customization to achieve that in terms of syncing users, posts, categories and tags.

Hope this helps.
Thanks.

We want to duplicate the EB content that we create on the CBN site to another Joomla site rather than recreate the same content every time. The authors, categories, etc. would be static content. The only content that would change on a daily basis would be the posts.

Is there a way to initially duplicate all the current EB content on the CBN site including config files to another Joomla site, then use the EasyBlog feed importer for all new posts?

Hi there,

I see. Thanks for the explanation.

Regarding your inquiry,
> Is there a way to initially duplicate all the current EB content on the CBN site including config files to another Joomla site

Currently, there is no available feature to do this. But, there are several ways, to achieve this.
1. You can use database queries to dump all data from your original site and place it in the new site.
2. Or you can use any 3rd party backup such as Akeeba backup to restore it to a new site. Take a look on this documentation: https://www.akeeba.com/videos/1212-akeeba-backup/1618-abtc04-restore-site-new-server.html .

However, you'll still be needing some knowledge on server setup, database and coding in order to achieve this.

Please do understand that we cannot accommodate your request as it is beyond our support scope's policy as outlined in https://stackideas.com/support .

Having said that, if you require us to perform the customization for you, you can always request for a quote from us at https://crm.stackideas.com and select "Customizations" . Our sales person would gladly send you a quote for the customization that you have requested.

Thanks.
