MOBILE VIEW - no count features in categories items on mobile view for videos,audio,... nowhere

Hi !

It’s good guiding praxis if the design (team) UX/UI is similar for users of ES et al desktop & mobile view. And you get as close as possible for similar ES desktop and also mobile views consistent with the same design and the same features.

Now you have the count works on videos, audio and all others works on desktop view but nothing works there for mobile view. No counting on numbers of videos, audio,+others in all categories there in mobile view.

It would be good if you have this count similar on mobile view too as it works on desktop view.

That’s the same goal as Stackideas customers and its site users have too Irwin.

That doesn’t exclude to have ES et al coherent similar features in both desktop and mobile view doesn’t it?

It would be best that you can submit a request regarding this by creating a new suggestion at https://stackideas.com/voices/easysocial so that everyone else could vote for it.

Because all this while we don't have render the count on the mobile layout and so far nobody complains this yet, we will monitor and see if there are a lot of users who request to show the count on mobile layout then we will consider to add this in the future version.

I wished the same feature. But later I disabled counting on desktop. Support team says it will make site works faster

Irwin, this is not a new feature as we discussed. This is something that should be "to have ES et al coherent similar features in both desktop and mobile view"

And as User said we can then better disable it on mobile view for users that have crappy hosts that can not deliver...or have set up their Joomla site wrong with cache and optimisations.

That should not punished others that have users that expect the same functions for mobile and desktop.

And as more than 70% come to sites by mobile view for social content - its important.

i share these thoughts of ssnobben that the mobile views are more important (the number of hits is now almost 60% and rising with mobile devices on my project).

"Mobile first" principles are state of the art, it should be possible to have all functionalities of a website available on mobile devices. Not to force the user to change the devise to see relevant data.
