How can I check inside easyBlog for new language updates? Inside EasySocial I can press the "discover" button and see in the state the message "news Updating", however in EasyBlog the "Discover" button seamed to be missing... Is that a bug? I only have a "find Updates" button which when I press that it comes up with "Language discovered successfully." but didn´t say if a update is pending or not. Based on the statement here I would expect the same discover button in EasyBlog as seen in EasySocial (means a build in update function). By the way can we use the same wording here if "Find Updates" from EasyBlog and "Discover" inside EasySocial should do the same? Its a little bit confusing...

Note: looks like the same issue exists also in EasyDiscuss.
Hi there,

Actually, Easyblog and Easydiscuss are same with Easysocial, but only right now, Easysocial will shown you 'Need Updating' using red color http://take.ms/ftL1d but not on Easydiscuss and Easyblog. Both are showing like this http://take.ms/WkE8A, without red color.

We will see if we can implement this our future release version, to shown exactly the same with Easysocial. Thanks for your understanding.

Ah I see. But it would be great if it would act similar like the other components from StackIdeas and also gives a visual display if something needs to be updated or not.

By the way for easyblog the latest German language pack is really from 2016-09-07 05:58:12? Because that's what my system is showing...

Sure, we will update these in next release version as well.

Hm, that was strange, because i did tried in my locally, it seems it updated to the current date time, you can check my attached screenshot below.

Can you try this following step and see how it goes?
1. Click purge cache button
2. Click Find update button
3. Then it will update all the date to show current date time

yes I already tried that, but the date isn´t changing. It still shows 2016-09-07 05:58:12.

Yes, I can see your issue from your site backend, it would be best if you can setup FTP access for us so we can debug this issue quickly.

FTP access will not work i´m sorry there is no way to bypass the firewall. However I might install a filemanager if you know a cool joomla plugin.

It seems like this issue similar with this :

https://stackideas.com/forums/language-discover-isn-t-possible-got-a-red-x-instead#reply-385320

After you click that discover button, it doesn't retrieve the latest language data from our server.

Perhaps we can focus this issue in this ticket https://stackideas.com/forums/language-discover-isn-t-possible-got-a-red-x-instead here so no need to reply each of the ticket for this.

sure we can focus on that component. Former postings from Stackideas support members mentioned to create a single ticket per incident, so i followed that rule ;-).

But as said if you see that it is similar, we for sure can focus here on a single component and once fixed we can check if we can apply the same fix to this issue here.
