Migrating big data JomSocial site to EasySocial by support

Hello. I'm interesling of migrating JomSocial site to EasySocial.

You may also opt for our free installation & migration services if you want.

But what if databese is big and migrating can take lots of hours (perhaps more than one work day)?
For example, my site has:
20806 users
31876 photos
21768 videos (only linked videos, no uploads)
29 groups with 200 discussion
83473 text post (or activitiys in stream / not sure about it)

So is it possible make by support team?

P.S: What will be if I start few migrating process in one time? Can I start migrate users in one browser tab and start migrate videos in another tab?

We migrated from JomSocial about 2 years back.
Our site was similiar in size to yours so I speak from experience.
.
Its not a one-day job, its not painless and it will require some attention after the migration is done to get everything setup and working correctly. Take up the migration offer from Stackideas.....trust me it will save you a LOT of headaches.

The site will also work a bit differently (EasySocial is not just Jomsocial in a different skin!) so its best to prepare the users first and explain the process you are going through.
Ideally do a test run on a backup site first and also, don't forget to back up before you start, just in case.

However, once its done you will never look back.
Easysocial is just soooooo much better than Jomsocial in every way!

Hello. "JomSocial Videos" migration tools says:
To migrate group's videos, please make sure you've run the JomSocial Groups migration first before you proceed with video migration. Failing to do so will causes the group videos to be migrated as user's videos.


Does it mean that I can do migration in this order:
1) JomSocial Groups
2) At the same time (on different browser tabs): JomSocial Users + JomSocial Videos?

Hey Dmitry,

I would suggest you to not run them in order as during the migration, it might get affected. It's best to do it one at a time.
