Hello,

Can you please login and debug the ES stream location feature?

Thank you!
Hi Warith,

I am aware of the needed secure layer and my site run fully and forced https.
I tested in latest version of Safari MacOS & iOS, Chrome and Firefox.
The API key works perfectly, I use it in other components in the same site.
If yes, currently, you can use those restrictions(Referrer/IP). You need to disable it for now.

I guess you meant "you can not use"... so I disable the referrer in the console.
That was the issue ED location works with restrictions but not ES & EB...

Hi there,

Have you set up your locations based on steps provided here https://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/configuration/location-services-settings ? And may i know whether your have any restrictions to your API's? If yes, currently, you cant use those restrictions(Referrer/IP). You need to disable it for now.

By the way, may i know which browser your are using right now? If you are using chrome browser, you cant use 'Detect Location' as it is required for you to use SSL(https) for your site. And if you are using latest version of Firefox, you also can use 'Detect Locations' as they also enforce your site to use SSL. Below are those references for more understanding.

If not, it would be best if you can provide us with your Google API access credentials for us further check on this issues.

Hi there,

Yes as we also take noted regarding this issues. As we have implemented a better way on usage of Google APIs(locations) on our ES2.1 version.

By the way, glad to hear that your issue has been resolved now.

As a gentle reminder, kindly start a new thread if you have any other issue in the future so it will be easier for us to manage your inquiry. I will lock and mark this thread as resolved.
