Hi SI team

I posted about this before.

http://stackideas.com/forums/link-shadow-box-jce-nonumbers

So I can get this to work for a link if I switch to the HTML editor.
But what about an image!?!

a) Click Image
b) Image opens link in a shadow box.

I was looking at this here:

https://www.nonumber.nl/extensions/modals#link-to-an-image

*********************************************************
Add link to an Image
To add a modal link to an image, simply place the {modal} tags around the image.
Example:
{modal index.php/123-my-article}{/modal}

My guess is that this is not going to work for an image as if I understand things correctly images need to be uploaded using the EB Media manager using an Image Block? Which would mean I can not enter code!

Please advise if this assumption is correct?

thanks

Paul
You need to upload it via media manager and get the correct url to the image

If you are using the new easyblog composer editor, the only way is to insert a html block and insert your html codes in the block including the image tag.

Hi Mark

Let me check that I understand you.

a) Insert HTML block
b) Insert image with an image tag <img>Image-Blah<img>I

What I do not get is how do I actually upload the image if I am not using the image Block?
If I understand things correctly images need to be processed by the Easyblog Media Manager.

I have been following this thread here:

thanks
