As requested fot the StackIdeas support team, we are starting a new thread for this issue.

We have activated Komento for DOCman but in the document page we receive the following error:

Uncaught ReferenceError: Komento is not defined

After some test and debugging, we have reached the conclussion that this error is thrown because the first Komento.require() instruction is written to the <head> section of the page before the declaration of <script src="/media/com_komento/scripts/site-3.0.5-basic.min.js"></script> which occurs later. We have tried to change this behavior by inserting the line <script src="/media/com_komento/scripts/site-3.0.5-basic.min.js"></script> at the beginning of the <head> section but then we face other javascript errors.

This issue has been reproduced also installing Joomla!, Komento and DOCman from scratch, without any other extensions to discard JS conflicts.
If I am not wrong, Docman developer build their own Komento plugin which can integration to Docman.

Perhaps you can provide us with your following details at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can better have a check?

- Joomla backend access
- FTP access
- provide us one of the docman page URL from frontend.

Hello, I have posted the details of our Joomla! site. Also the support staff at Joomlatools have been checking the error and suggest to contact you back, since the javascript error "Komento is not defined" is also happening at the backend of your component, as shown in the attached screenshot

The reason why you hitting this from backend is most likely that Komento installation not install properly, I already help you update to latest version of Komento just now, it should render correctly.

Can you share with us which page is docman?

The update of Komento has resolved the javascript error on the backend but it persists on the frontend. Could you take a look?

You already have the link to a docman document page in the "Additional details" section of my profile at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site

It seems like this issue similar like what our customer reported in earlier, you can check this thread here. https://stackideas.com/forums/docman-issue#reply-336495

I suspect they injected those script on top of Komento, Komento script will failed, you can check my attached screenshot below.

If Joomla article here (i created a hidden menu for this testing) :
http://replace.to.yourDomain.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=17

it will render the Komento form correctly without any script injected in Komento script on top.

Perhaps you can consult them regarding this and see how it goes?

Keep us update.
