Hi

if you have Joomla advance (Finder) indexing your site and have set up ES to work only for reg users and you have more langauges like english + others you can search for example a specific event in english version and get redirected to register/login to see the result. If you change to another language your get redirected to a 404 error message instead of get to the ES login/register page.

This must be a bug..
Hi there,

May I know did you have set any itemid for example event? because it seems it will always referring to itemid 950 even though I have temporarily disabled the menu for it.

Hi there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a public holiday for us here.
I have reproduced the issue locally now, it seems there is a bug regarding this.
I have logged this into our issue tracker and our developer will take an action for this.

Thanks for your cooperation and understanding

Hi there,

After our developer checked on this, they inspected that we do not have an option to allow user to choose the language that
they want to post it to, thus the smart search routing will store the menu item id base on current page language instead.

Even they try to remove the menu item id from route link (in finder_links table), it work for all language, but end up those
permalink url will not shows properly, thus your site module will not appear on this page, since the page url do not have
contain the menu item id.

In conclusion, there is no better way to approach this just yet.

Perhaps, you can follow my colleague suggestion in the other ticket for this point in time

Thanks for your cooperation and understanding

Hi I still think you should come up with a solution for this.

For example if I go to the site map on English https://www.whattodo.com/en/my-controls/member-tools/site-map-what-to-do and click on ES "User videos" --> "Music"-->Click on one of the videos I come to the register page to see the video.

if I do the same in Swedish menu ie https://www.whattodo.com/sv/min-panel/verktyg-medlem/sidkarta-what-to-do and click on "Medlemsvideor"--> "Music" I get an ugle error 404

fel: 404
404
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Sorry, this page is not available! Pls go to main page! <a href="https://www.whattodo.com">https://www.whattodo.com</a><br /></strong></span></p>

Would it not be able to at least get a similar login request for ES and then get this message? or other solution what you think?
