Good idea so you can automatically add certain groups, pages, events,... for certain profile type(s) automatically joined at signed up reg process.

A dev did for me some years ago a custom field that i included in registration, people where able to check groups they interest, this way groups were populated quickly.

the field was not maintenaned and not working now .. need new dev, hope the team here will include this in future, as basic feature or application, maybe we can even suggest groups based on some other custom fields, for example based on location..

Not sure if I am on the same page here... But it seems obvious to me that being assigned to certain groups/pages/events on registration/sign up would be a great feature to have.

In my case for eg register/sign up with Pay Plans and Easy Social and get assingned to group ABC, DEF, GHI etc.
