We need to add the relationship type "Polyamorous" to the list of available choices and I tried modifying the config.json file as per the information at https://stackideas.com/forums/add-more-relationship-types. I also created a new language override. So now that item does show up, but when selected and you try to save the updated profile, you get the error message Relationship target is invalid. so I guess there needs to be another change somewhere? I've attached the updated json file.
Hi there,

You need to do more customization here .../media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/user/relationship/relationship.php under validaterelation function. Add 'polyamorousnotarget' on allowed array.

By the way, I am really sorry but unfortunately we cannot accommodate your request currently as it is beyond our support scope's policy as outlined in https://stackideas.com/support

Having said that, if you require us to perform the customization for you, you can always request for a quote from us at https://crm.stackideas.com and select "Customizations" . Our sales person would be glad to send you a quote for the customizations that you have requested.

Thanks for your understanding.

Thanks for that info, it's pretty straightforward to see what to do in that file. Just a note that I have already added my +1 to the one or more feature requests to make relationship type more adaptable, so I hope it gets considered. Thanks.

Hi there,

Currently, it would be best if you can do backup on your customization and re-apply them on your site on your next update. We will not included them on our next release version.

Thanks for your understanding.

Yes, I understand that. So do hope at some point you will look into improving the relationship feature, as it's very 'hard coded and inflexible' at the moment!

We'll see what we can do about this in the near future.
