Issue with email template logo

Hello

I am having trouble changing the email Logo for easydiscuss. I am using Ja_Social_II template and when i try to locate
Ja_Social_II/html/com_easydiscuss/emails I can not find html/com_easydiscuss the file is not there but easydiscuss is showing fine on my site. Can you please help me out in changing this email logo.

Also in easy blog when Email logo is set through Notifications - general - upload email logo. That's all i need to do for easyblog email logo, Right. If it's that easy for easyblog why don't you have the same upload image for easydiscuss?

Hi Adam,

If the directory does not exist, you would have to create it.

I have helped you create the directory and upload the logo into the override path.

Can you help us check again?

We will try to add the email logo setting into EasyDiscuss in the future.

Thanks for adding Logo it works fine But something else is now not working when you click the link from the email to go to the forum thread the URL comes up as

http://hubfit.com.au/new-forum-thread/reply-to-question

should be

http://hubfit.com.au/forum/reply-to-question

Not sure why it would now link to the wrong menu item

any ideas?

Hey Adam,

That is strange. It looks like the url was fine in this previous discussion(http://take.ms/OlMgT). Do you recall changing anything after creating this discussion?

Also, I tested by creating a new discussion and the link was generated correctly in the email(/forum/post-title).

After I tried to find the file html/com_easydiscuss I reinstalled easydiscuss to see if that would make a difference but that was it. The only other thing I did yesterday was change the favicon image.

Based on the latest post, it looks like the issue does not occur(http://take.ms/eyssy).

Since we are unable to find a definite way to replicate this, perhaps you can let us know next time when you experience this again?

Hey Alex,

This can be modified as outlined in https://stackideas.com/docs/easydiscuss/administrators/templating/overrides-email-logo . In the next major release, we are changing all of these into settings based to make life easier.
