I think I missed up 1 thing just now, you can invite other user under their profile friend page, you can check my attached screenshot below, is this will achieve what is your current requirement?

And I am sorry that I missed up that screenshot in my previous reply, what I mean is user can invite friend to join this community from their profile https://take.ms/Io3sX , but this functionality just a normal invitation without those referral code, but once those invited user come to register on your site, that user will gain the point https://take.ms/h8KvY .

...also... the invite goes out with a logo that I cannot recognise. Can we customise that?

Actually that is Gravatar image base on the email if those email have Gravatar account, if don't have then it will render this default avatar image.

Right now in order to display Invite Friends, a User need to:
1- Login
2- Go to profile
3- Click Friends
4- Click Sent Invitation

Too many steps... I want to copy/paste the code that displays Invite Friends from the Sent Invitation page to the All Friends bar (2 steps before)... See second screenshot. Same location, far right end of the bar

You can add this code into this file JoomlaFolder/components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/friends/default/items.php

Then override into your current template file location JoomlaFolder/templates/yourCurrentTemplate/html/com_easysocial/friends/default/items.php so you do not need to re-do this changes when you update next version.
