Hi Arlex (sorry, I've been calling you Alex!) Thanks for your quick support on this.

It is a fresh installation, given that I tried a few times unsuccessfully last week, including a couple of uninstalls and reinstalls in case I had something wrong.

First time round I had insufficient memory allocated to this particular site, and it was stalling earlier in the installation. I upped the memory as soon as I realised this, and tried again.

I've had an email telling me EasyBlog is now installed and I've seen the message on the site.

Can you tell me what the problem was, in case I come across it again?

This is the first time I have set up a blog (I'm a complete newcomer to blogging), and I'm not certain what to do, so I will be experimenting for a bit! Any guidance you could give me would be great! I've looked at the documentation, but I don't see an idiot's guid for complete beginners…

You're welcome, what I did just now is manually install back some of the Easyblog table missing in your database, so it stuck at 40%.

Don't worries of this, becuase this will not happen on your site again.

Hmm, perhaps you can create a new thread for which section you are not understand how it work in Easyblog 5, so we can try our best to guide you on this?
