It looks like you are referring to items belonging to deleted users correct(orphaned items)?

If that's the case, unfortunately it is not possible because the owner for orphaned items can only be specified by their id(http://take.ms/sbpMm).

You can always create a dummy user and use the name 'Deleted User'. Then specify this user as the owner for orphaned items.

Ok i found that there is not, You should add that to the Request as it seems logical to be able to change a reply's author from the backend
