Hello

1. is it possible to remove any 'validation step' to publish Blog article or Group or Event for ALL users ?
- using a setting in the back-end I suppose?

2. is it possible to remove any 'validation step' to publish Blog article or Group or Event for SPECIFICS users ?
- I think we can do that from the front-end since the last version of Easy Social ...

Thanks
Henri
Hey there,

Can you explain more about it on what do you mean ''validation step' to publish Blog article or Group or Event for ALL users or specific users'' so that we can have a better understanding of it?

When a user post a blog article or create a Group or create an Event, the admin receives a notification to confirm the post or creation.

Then the admin, from the email he received or from the admin dashboard, have to acknowledge the request ... and the article or the group/event is published and visible to the users

my 2 questions are on the different ways to avoid this 'validation'

thanks
Henri

Oh I see. For Group and Event, you can disable 'Moderate Group Creation' and 'Moderate Event Creation' based on the Profile Type's ACL. https://take.ms/SHuss https://take.ms/qfqMO

For Blog, you can enable 'Allowed To Publish Post' based on the Joomla User Group. https://take.ms/h4OIn

Thanks Irwin,

Good to know.

BTW : maybe more efficient for you/your team to answer with the link on the official documentation like this one https://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/groups/how-to-enable-or-disable-group-creation-moderation

But please read again :

OK I mean this (see the uploaded file)

Assign the 'moderator' right to users.
Is it the same that you suggested in your answer?

I am really confused here as I still don't know what are you trying to bring it up here. Can you explain with an example so that we can have a better understanding of it?

This feature can be enabled and disabled at Profile Type's Allow Moderator Access setting. https://take.ms/bNzSR

It is different. The previous answer that I suggested was they can post it immediately without moderation.

Thanks for you tenacity :-)

"The previous answer that I suggested was they can post it immediately without moderation."
- this sentence is crystal clear

" Allow Moderator Access " feature : Can you give me a sample of the usual way to use this feature?

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a public holidays for us here.

" Allow Moderator Access " feature : Can you give me a sample of the usual way to use this feature?

If your site has moderator user, I would suggest that you have to create another new profile type in Easysocial then enable this "Allow Moderator Access" as well. Ensure that this profile type user group you select those administrator user group for example.

After you created this new profile type in Easysocial, you can switch your existing moderator user profile type to this new profile type.

So those user who under this new profile type (Allowed moderator access), they can able to moderate those pending group, event and page on frontend. (screenshot : http://take.ms/MAzLn), so these moderator user do not need to moderate these pending clusters (group, event, and page) from your site backend now.
