Hi

We are not able to connect the public mobile app to the ES service of our website (see screenshot). In fact, we did not find a documentation on this topic.

Do we have to recreate an username (as usernames already exist in the ES component of our Joomla website)?

In our Stackideas dashboard, the registered domain for ES is sct.pf. But we absolutely need to connect to www.sct.pf (for proxy reason). Does this have an incidence on the configuration of the public mobile app ?

Thank you for you help
Hi Mizael,

To have www depends on your site setting. By the looks of it yes, you need to enter with www for the app to be able to connect to your site.

To be able to use the public version of the app you need to have an active Easysocial license and you will need to install the following plugin and app for this to work:

EasySocial REST API (Installed in Joomla)

EasySocial Push Notification App (Installed in EasySocial).

If you still can't access through the app, perhaps you can share the credential for your backend for us to do further investigation.

Hi Farqhan

Thank you for your quick response. It works fine! I will try it tomorrow within the proxy system.
Is there a dedicated documentation somewhere about this mobile app that we have missed?

By the way, I have some further questions, if you don't mind:
- How to configure the Cronjob, instead of the classical Instant Push notification?
- Is it possible to translate the app (in french)?
- Is it possible to get rid of advertisements (which is not very welcome, as the purpose of our ES is for a school)?

Thanks for your help so far!

Hi Mizael,

You can read the documentation here which is sufficient docs to setup the free app.

- How to configure the Cronjob, instead of the classical Instant Push notification?

If what you meant with this question is for mobile push notification, then you can head over to backend -> components -> Easysocial -> Applications -> Applications -> search for Mobile Push Notifications -> in Settings / Push Notification Type, you able to change it to Via Cronjob

Is it possible to translate the app (in french)?

You're able to translate the app to French through our builder Titan which you can access once you've purchased EasySocial Mobile Native App. With that purchase, you will be able to fully access the documentation mentioned above.

Is it possible to get rid of advertisements (which is not very welcome, as the purpose of our ES is for a school)?

Advertisement can be removed once you've purchased EasySocial Mobile Native App.

If you have any further question please create a new ticket for easier issue tracking. Thanks.

Hi Farqhan

Thank you very much for your help and accurate responses.
We will try first the public free app, then decide if we use the (quite costly for us ) native app.

Regards
