Hi Good Morning Stackideas Support Team How Are you ^_^

1. How can i Change some of Language Strings To Own Custom Language Strings

For Example ,Change Following Words:

"Groups" -----> "Circle"
"Friends" -----> "Connections"
"Events" ------> "Happens"

2. Right Now to ES Community is accessible By Following URL
http://mydomain.com/index.php/community
http://mydomain.com/index.php/community/community-groups/groups

Is any Way it could be Directly accessible by Following URL

http://mydomain.com/index.php/
http://mydomain.com/index.php/community-groups/groups

Just want to remove "/community" from URL

When ever user type main url
mydomain.com
Its show ES Dashboard without /community at end of url
Thanks
Hi Gill,

1. To create you own custom translation strings, go to backend > extensions > language(s) > override > click new.
After clicking the new button follow the same steps as mine shown in the screenshot below.

Language constants of the string you want to override:

COM_ES_FRIENDS
COM_ES_GROUPS
COM_ES_EVENTS

2. Since you do not provide us with your site access so I assume that you have created the "Easysocial - group" menu item under this parent menu "Easysocial - User Dashboard" right?

If yes, you must make the community page the default home page in order to remove the /community from the URL. To do this, go to backend > menus > all menu items > and click the community menu's star icon. The /community may now be removed. Please see my screen shot.

Create a new menu item with the title and set alias "community groups," choose the menu item type as "Menu heading", use my screenshot as an example and save, if you want to reach this URL directly.

Next, change the parent item of the groups submenu under the community menu from community to test before saving. Please see the screenshot below.

After saving these changes, the most important step is to click "purge all" under SEF URLs in backend. To do this go to backend > easysocial > SEF URL's > click "purge all". Purging clears the page's server cache and the page is rebuilt.

Let us know if this works for you, if not please provide your site credentials to look further.

Thanks!
