Yes, they are compatible with EasySocial 3. Did Hikashop released a new version recently? I am not entirely sure if it was tested against Hikashop 4 though.

There should be no issues currently. By the way, you also need to have Hikamarket on your site to make sure it is working as it should.

I had seen those few screenshots.
Selling products would be an important aspect of the solution we're investigating for in this project
Currently, we're wondering if EasySocial is a better alternative to another third party extension
We need a business directory where businesses can sell offers to visitors
We like the social community approach to this through business pages in a community
Having businesses own ES pages and allowing them to sell products from there would be magnificent but i am not sure the Hikashop/market plugin kit is enough to achieve this ? I certainly can't tell from those 3 screenshots ;-)

Hey Danny,

From what I know currently that is no other alternative 3rd party component/app integration with Easysocial to achieve this.

Basically how this Hikashop app does is :

- Allow those user add new product in Easysocial story form who has permission to create their own product in Hikashop.
- It will generate a stream item on Easysocial timeline once you added a new product
- Your product details also will appear on this user profile hikashop page as well.

This is the only part Hikashop app handle it, this creation product form only available for the user, mean it will not allow user to create their own product under their group/event/page on the Easysocial.

Ah so basically, it doesn't do what I need it to :-(
