Groups - Invited members can get invited again

Hello,

We currently allow users to invite non-friends (all users) to join their groups.

However, the 'Invite Friends' link allows you to invite people who have already been invited.

*Is there a way to exclude users who have already been invited? (It's hard to remember who has been invited. If someone is a member of the group, then their profile is excluded).

*Can we change that field to say 'Invite Members' instead of 'Invite Friends' ? (We call users 'members')

I could not replicate the issue locally or on your site(http://take.ms/IdZBB). A message will actually mention that the user has been invited before and also preventing duplicate invites.

You can override the following language constant:


COM_EASYSOCIAL_GROUPS_INVITE_FRIENDS="Invite Friends"

I see what you're saying.

I think our biggest need is in trying to figure out who has already been invited.

If we have 2,000 users and want to invite all 2,000 users (during separate periods of time), how do we know if we already invited them?

The attached screen shot shows that their name still populates. And you can't sort members by name or invited date.

So it's a bit confusing figuring out how has already been invited and who needs to be invited.

If that's the case, how about we limit the form suggestion to only suggest users that have not been invited(http://take.ms/aW9nv)?

Hey Meagan,

I have already logged this ticket internally and it will be addressed in EasySocial 2.1. If the user has already been invited previously, it shouldn't suggest the same user again.
