If I'm logged in as a user, but not a member of a group, and go to mysite.com/groups... I get a menu icon (the "...") appear when I mouse over the group cover pictures.. when I select it an empty box appears.

I understand this is the menu that does appear if the group owner / admin is logged in, but can it be hidden if the scenario I describe here applies? (A logged in person but not a member of the group)

Thanks!
Same applies if you are logged in AND a member of the group... so the empty menu should be hidden from all logged in users except where it contains something (which I believe is the group Owner and Admins)

Hi Andy,
I tested this locally and since by default the reporting feature is enabled in Settings>General>General>Reporting, it will seem as though there is no issue. But if we disabled the reporting feature then the ellipse box still show with empty dropdown as you mentioned.
I will log this issue in our tracker so the devs can look into it. Thanks

Hi Raymond - Aha yes! That's the issue then because I did decide to turn my 'reporting' off site-wide.

Thanks Andy, this is already fixed internally.
