Global notification to all page members

Hi,
For the new page (group) feature I just want to confirm that this feature is included:

For a private group, can someone who creates a new discussion topic select who gets notified via email in the group? In other words can I select that all members of the group are notified via email?

This is important as most members of the group I create won't go to the site unless prompted to via an email

I also asked separately whether they can respond via email, and have their response posted to the thread on my site.

Thanks for the response. Sounds like there is some work to be done to fully integrate all three components: Blog/Discuss/Social. Might be an idea to offer special pricing if you take all three, but I'm sure you're way ahead of me on that one.

Hello Peter,

To be honest with you, we have not really started development on this yet as we are now still in the discussion stage for groups / pages. However, I don't think the initial version would include this advance functionality yet but it's definitely worth considering since we already have this workflow in EasyDiscuss

Hello peter,

Sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately we do not have a setting for user to choose who gets notified. It's either all the users or just the ones who subscribed.
