Perhaps I am missing something, but I haven't yet found a way to allow a (public) user on the front end to sort the posts. By default we sort with the newest at the top, which is how I want it. But it would be nice to give visitors additional ways of sorting the posts.

If it matters:

  1. I don't use the blog toolbar, could that be why there is not a sort option?
  2. I use the menu type (Posts) Frontpage.
Hi Brandon,

Unfortunately, it is not possible for the public to sort the blog posts on their end. Only the site admin can sort the blog posts from the backend settings.

Seems like a very basic (and standard) feature one would expect to see on a blog. Perhaps that should be in your next release.

Hi there,

Thanks for the suggestion.

Perhaps it would be best if you can submit a feature request regarding this issues by creating a new ticket on the forums and set it to "Feature Request" so that everyone else could vote for it. We will prioritize this feature during the development process for the next major version of Easyblog if there are more people request on this.
