Regarding the second issue, to make changes in subscription email notification, you can make changes in this file: \components\com_easyblog\themes\default\email.subscriptions.confirmation.html.php .

Fo the subscription popup box, yes, you can customize the popup box layout or its content through CSS. If you are looking to update its content only, please refer this PHP file: \components\com_easyblog\themes\default\ajax.dialog.subscribe.php .

It is very tricky and I am very sorry but we are actually quite tied up with our own internal development and we wouldn't be able to assist you with these customizations right now.
