I have followed the instructions at https://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/configuration/instant-article-configuration

I got to the point where Facebook is aware of and able to pull in the articles from the EasyBlog rss feed. In fact in the menu on their left where they have a link for Development Articles it has pulled in quite a few of the Blog Posts.

What I have not figured out is what they are wanting me to do in order to submit to then at least Five Production Articles.

The only option is the Create and then it asks me to "Paste some markup".

I was hoping that maybe EasyBlog would be able to supply that information to Facebook?
Hello Sean,

Once you have published it which you have already did and the state will go Live. What you have to do next is share your post on Facebook. It will automatically detect the URL and make it Instant Article. You can try with this URL:
https://www.drcarney.com/blog/entry/recalling-what-s-in-chicken-nuggets

Copy this and share on Facebook. Provided that you still have this post published in your Production Instant Articles.

Hello,

When I first check your issue, I saw this Missing Logo notice: http://take.ms/oVJ8W . What I did to solve this, I go to your Style Editor>Default: http://take.ms/JOhzk and uploaded the logo.

Next, the reason why you can't see any article in your Production section is because of this: Missing RSS URL for the Production article. http://take.ms/cNa7m . I have added the URL and your articles have been pulled into the Production Articles: http://take.ms/5S82o and ready to be reviewed.

I have submitted for review: http://take.ms/zoomD

Nick,

Thank you very much. Interestingly enough I had already done each of the steps which you also did. I wonder if maybe I didn't save them properly. I do see that you found our logo to upload which I had uploaded earlier. I do appreciate your help very much.

Do you know the url that I am supposed to go to now in order to see this application's settings? I just now tried to login to the developer section of facebook to see the app for this and track it's progress but this app does not appear to live there.

When I go to the Sign Up page it informs me that drcarney.com is already set up. Do you know how I will know when it is working?

Thank you, Sean Carney

Hello Sean,

Congratulation, your posts has been approved. http://take.ms/m0A3B Now you need to publish your articles here: http://take.ms/1NvCF by following this http://take.ms/490C9 and do let us know how it goes.

This is the URL to go to the configuration page:

By the way, I have tried to share one of your post on your page and this is how it looks like on mobile: http://take.ms/ocljq . See the lightning icon at the top. This means it is already Instant Article.

Thank you so much Nick,

I just now found the page you published on my page and wondered how it got there. I removed it before reading your message. Thank you for doing that.

Do I now have to login to Facebook or will it be able to automatically post our blogs going forward? The reason I ask is I see in your images the section about the API Publishing and I am assuming that might be the way you set it up. Or, will my articles be imported and I still need to login in order to select the ones that I want published? I guess there are pros and cons for both options.

I used your images and url now and checked it all out. I really don't yet understand how it works but I figured if you put that much energy into making it work then I should be taking advantage of it. I selected a few items in the Production Articles section and selected them and pulled down to the option to "Publish" them. Their status is now changed to 'Live' but I don't see them on my page. Interesting.

Thanks for sharing and updating Sean, glad that your issues are resolved now

The downside of these instant articles is that they do not support google ads (duh, they are competing with Google), in the future versions, we are going to allow site admins to inject advertisements in these instant articles.

This sounds like a good idea. Also, it does mean that there will probably be less traffic to our web site from Facebook since previously the people would be taken to our page instead of read it on Facebook. But, that remains to be seen.

Thank you very much for making the Instant Articles work so well.
