Hello,

Regarding the message 'Please create an advertising account first', when user attempt to access to advertisement listing page, if user do no have an advertiser account, system will redirect user to advertiser creation page with the same message. So I believe we no longer need to include the link to the advertiser creation link the message. Am i missing something here?

Please advise.

ok i see.

when will it be possible to sell advertising space automatically in the future? what extensions and apps are necessary/involved for that?
https://stackideas.com/voices/easysocial/item/94-monetization-options
https://stackideas.com/voices/payplans/item/130-es-advertisement-campaigns-app

i am now setting up the advertisements feature and would like to know how the technical integration will eventually be.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply.

Currently we do not have the plan yet to add the feature for sell advertising space. As you know, EasySocial 4.0.1 was just released not long ago and there are many other things to be polished up first before we can introduce other new features into EasySocial.

Thank you for your understanding.

i understand that and i'm well aware of the release this week of ES v4.x. - it is already up and running on my end because I already knew what the update had brought.
however, me/we as website managers also have to plan our further course of action. especially when it comes to future payment services.
all i need to know is a overview how this could be setup, what stackideas tools are necessary to sell ad-spots?!
i guess to implement managed ad-spots in EB and ED are modifications in the tools itself necessary, but that is possible to manage.
for modules what are placed somewhere on the joomla page you have to build ab something like this, I will assume that this is the case.
if you could tell me if there will be a central area where the ad-accounts, payments and advertisings will come together that would be a first start. of course how the payment is done is for me the biggest question but i guess payplans is a muss with a new APP in it to handle this, more or less.

To be frank with you, we haven't really look into these yet but in order to achieve this, EasySocial will need to have a tight integration with PayPlans or any other payment system. Currently in PayPlans, there is already an app to restrict the number of ads a person can create in EasySocial depending on the plan they've subscribed.

As to how the ads can be managed / displayed on your site, I am sorry but at this point of time, we do not have much to share on this one.

Thanks and have a nice day

There is free std Joomla banner package that you can test n00bster but I dont think it will cover all your requirements but maybe Stackideas can fork some of the code or learn from it https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/flexbanner/

hi Sam,
hi ssnobben,
thank you both for your input.

right now i'm working with the nativ joomla "banner" component. where i have to manage very advertising of my clients manually.
i see a huge potential for my project and i guess others too, if there would a centralized ADS management area for the stackideas extensions (ES, EB, ES). where interested advertising customers can be shown all possible advertising spaces, including prices - Philippe did a good mockup for the overview about ads packages:
https://stackideas.com/voices/payplans/item/130-es-advertisement-campaigns-app

Philippe pointed me to the update in the latest payplan update: https://stackideas.com/blog/payplans-4-2-7-released
? Advertisement Submission App for EasySocial 4.0
Stackteam, is there a way to testdrive this on the payplans demo? i checked the Apps section but do not see a ADS app...

You should be able to see this app from our PayPlans demo site when you creating new app instance. Please se:

Anyway, currently the EasySocial in our PayPlans demo is still on version 3.2.24. We've scheduled the EasySocial upgrade to v4.0 later today in our PayPlans demo site so you might want to come back tomorrow to check on the ads submission app for ES 4.0

Thanks and have a nice day
