Hi Thuli,

May I know do you already follow the steps on our documentation here? : https://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/migrations/migrating-easyblog-to-different-site
You can follow this to migrate EasyBlog to different site.

If you have unclear steps/explanation feel free to reply on this thread

Picking up this original post. I already migrated our blog by using the steps in the documentation. Meanwhile, it was necessary to keep the "old" site running while we were working on the new site. We then did some adjustements in the configuration. Now many new blog posts have been created and I wonder: is there a way to just import articles? I mean, can I upload all the media files and import only a specific database table? If yes, which ones do I have to pick for that?

Alternatively, we could migrate again but then will lose some settings.

Thanks for your support.

hey Michael,

Unfortunately, that is no easy way to migrate your new blog post from the old site to the new site if the new site already has the existing data.

Because it will involved a lot of tables when the user publishes a new blog post on the site.

In my opinion, list down which setting you have made then wait until 1 day you are ready to migrate over to the new site, you have to set your old site to offline then do the migration again and re-configure the setting.

If you have other new questions about this, perhaps you can start a new thread regarding this on our forum so we can easy to follow up on your post.

Just for your information, I have locked and marked this thread as resolved to avoid confusions in the future. Please start a new thread if you have any other issue in the future so it will be easier for us to manage your inquiries.

Thanks for understanding.
