We are developing a new website. At the same time we will be modifying the set-up of EasyBlog on the new site. This will involve removing some existing categories and adding one or two new ones. Once we have developed the new site, we would like to import some of the existing blog categories and the posts associated with them from the old site to the new site. Is there a way we can export categories and blogs and then import them to the new site?
Hi David,
We do have a guide on how to migrate to a different site. The steps are listed out which you can follow. Basically you will be exporting the database from the old site, then importing it into the new site.

Another thing I have to add, it is essential that you migrate the database over first before you make new categories and posts.
Because the process of exporting and importing the database is like cloning the old site.
So, any changes you made in the new site will be overwritten once you import the database from the old site.

You're welcome David

By the way, I would like suggest you setup a test site to do this migration first, in case any happen, it will not affected with your live site.

Keep us update if you need any further assistance.
