ES Backend Module does not detect new version

The Joomla updater notifies me of new versions of ES and works. However the ES backend module does not seem to pick up on new versions of ES. As seen in the attached screen shot ES 2.0.16 is not the latest version. For the sake of seeing this issue live I kept my test site at version 2.0.16.
Hey Josh,

May i know you mean you already updated to 2.0.17 from your development site?

Because it seems like you haven't update to 2.0.17 yet, perhaps you can share with us what is the step you perform the update through your backend?

I kept my test site (attached to post) with ES 2.0.16 so that you can visually see that the admin module is not detecting the real latest version. Updating isn't an issue. I'm letting you know so that the admin module can detect new versions.
